Step by step recipe

1 Green beans with tomatoes : Photo of step #1Prepare and wash 500 g green beans, then cut into short lengths. 20 min.
2 Green beans with tomatoes : Photo of step #2Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the beans quickly, just 5 minutes from the time the water comes back to the boil.

Cool under cold water, then drain.

5 Green beans with tomatoes : Photo of step #5Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large pan, then add the chopped onions, salt and pepper. Cook while stirring for 2 minutes. 2 min.
