|1||Prepare 1 onion and chop finely.
If you are using dried mushrooms, soak them in water. If fresh, wash and chop them.
|2||Pour 2 tablespoons olive oil into a pan on medium heat. When hot, add the chopped onion, salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute.||1 min.|
|3||Add 200 ml cream and the mushrooms, salt and pepper, then leave to thicken slightly on low heat.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
|4||Prepare 8 endives (head of chicory), and divide between the buttered dishes.||26 min.|
|5||Cover with the cream and mushroom mixture.||2 min.|
