Step by step recipe

1 Individual creamy endive gratins : Photo of step #1Prepare 1 onion and chop finely.

If you are using dried mushrooms, soak them in water. If fresh, wash and chop them.

2 Individual creamy endive gratins : Photo of step #2Pour 2 tablespoons olive oil into a pan on medium heat. When hot, add the chopped onion, salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute. 1 min.
3 Individual creamy endive gratins : Photo of step #3Add 200 ml cream and the mushrooms, salt and pepper, then leave to thicken slightly on low heat.

Check seasoning.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).

Remarks

You can replace the chanterelles with other mushrooms. Dried mushrooms, such as black trumpets (also known as horn of plenty) or morels are particularly good.
