For 220 g, you will need:

Step by step recipe
- 1: Prepare 200 g mayonnaise, then add 2 tablespoons vinegar and mix well.
- 2: Cut 4 gherkins in vinegar into tiny pieces and pour over the mayonnaise.
- 3: Quickly chop 2 tablespoons capers, then pour over the mayonnaise.
- 4: Wash and dry the herbs, ideally: Parsley, Chives, Tarragon and Chervil.
- 5: Chop them by hand or with a mincer...
- 6: ...then pour them over the mayonnaise and mix together, your tartar sauce is ready.

You can, but don't have to, add finely chopped 1 shallot.
Remarks
You can start with a
remoulade sauce instead of a
mayonnaise, in which case don't add vinegar.
