4 gherkins in vinegar

2 tablespoons capers

Step by step recipe
1:
Prepare 200 g
mayonnaise
, then add 2 tablespoons vinegar and mix well.
2:
Cut 4 gherkins in vinegar into tiny pieces and pour over the mayonnaise.
3:
Quickly chop 2 tablespoons capers, then pour over the mayonnaise.

Wash and dry the herbs, ideally:
Parsley
,
Chives
,
Tarragon
and Chervil.
5:
Chop them by hand or with a mincer...

...then pour them over the mayonnaise and mix together, your tartar sauce is ready.

Option
You can, but don't have to, add finely chopped 1
shallot
.
Remarks
You can start with a
remoulade sauce
instead of a
mayonnaise
, in which case don't add vinegar.
