2: Prepare 500 g turnips, cut into 4 or 6 according to size and set aside.
3: Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F). Pour 5 tablespoons olive oil and 2 tablespoons chilli spices into a bowl and mix.
4: Pour in the vegetables, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat well with the spiced oil.
5: Grate on 50 g Parmesan (Parmigiano Reggiano)...
6: ...then mix again.
7: Pour onto a sheet of baking paper placed on a baking sheet, and spread out in an even layer, then lightly salt again.
8: Bake at 200°C (390°F) for about 30 minutes, watching for color.
9: You can eat them on their own, with a pesto or parsley-sesame greensauce for example, or as an accompaniment to fish or meat.
Remarks
You can easily change the spices, for example to a curry, or your own mix of paprika, smoked or not, chilli, fenugreek, etc. Of course, you can use any vegetables you like.
