Chilli potato wedges

Step by step recipe
- 1: Thoroughly wash 750 g potatoes. Choose medium-sized rather than enormous ones.
- 2: Put into a saucepan, cover with cold water and put on to boil.
Cook until tender. - 3: Drain the potatoes and leave to cool slightly.
Cut lengthways into wedges.
Preheat the oven to 430°F (220°C). - 4: Put the wedges into a bowl. Salt ,pepper, then add 2 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons chilli spices.
Mix gently to coat evenly in the flour and spices. - 5: Pour 4 tablespoons olive oil over and mix again to coat well in the oil (add a little more if necessary).
- 6: Lay a sheet of cooking parchment on a baking sheet and arrange the wedges on it so that they don't touch.
- 7: Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until nicely browned.
Remarks
You can use whatever spices you prefer, or simply enjoy the potatoes plain.
