Cornouaillaise salad

For 4 people, you will need:

• 1 500 g white haricot beans
• 2 2 bayleaves
• 3 2 slices bread
• 4 20 g butter
• 5 100 g tuna in oil
• 6 herbs of your choice
• 7 5 tablespoons French dressing (vinaigrette)

Step by step recipe

• 1: The day before, put 500 g white haricot beans in water to soak overnight and soften.
• 2: Next day, cook the beans until tender in a large pan of salted water with 2 bayleaves.
• 3: Drain thoroughly.
• 4: Cut 2 slices bread into dice.
• 5: Brown in a small frying pan with 20 g butter.
• 6: Put the drained beans into a bowl.
• 7: Add 100 g tuna in oil, the chopped herbs and 5 tablespoons French dressing (vinaigrette). Mix well.
• 8: Finish by adding the croutons and mix one last time.
• 9: Your Cornouaillaise salad is ready.

Remarks

If possible, add the haricot beans while they are still hot to make a warm salad.
