Baked Camembert

Step by step recipe
- 1: Peel, wash and cut into large 1 kg potatoes pieces.
- 2: Cook in salted water until tender.
- 3: Drain and set aside.
- 4: Remove the Camembert from its box and paper, then score the top with a knife.
- 5: Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
Butter a baking dish. - 6: Place the Camembert cheese in the middle of the dish, then spread it around in an even 250 g onion fondue layer.
- 7: Pour over the potatoes and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- 8: Using a pastry brush, coat the top of the Camembert and potatoes with a little oil to give them a nice color when cooked.
- 9: Place in the oven at 200°C (390°F) for around 30 minutes, watching carefully for browning at the end.
- 10: Serve hot, sharing camembert, potatoes and onions, and enjoy!
Remarks
The quantities of potatoes and onions are very indicative, so feel free to adapt them to your taste or to what you have at home.
For serving once cooked, you can also quickly stir the contents of the dish before serving.
