Step by step recipe

1Peel 6 apples and chop fairly small.Caramelised apple custards : Stage 1
2Melt 30 g butter in a large frying pan on high heat. When good and hot, add 80 g caster sugar, then add the chopped apples.Caramelised apple custards : Stage 2
3Sauté everything until the apples are golden brown.

Note: At this point, you can flambé them with calvados, rum, or another liquor of your choice.

Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).

Remarks

You can vary this recipe with lots of other fruit, either fresh (pears, peaches...), or dried (raisins, apricots...).
