White Bean, Tuna, and Cheddar Salad

Step by step recipe
| 1 | Prepare the 500 g white beans and pour them into a mixing bowl. |  |
| 2 | Cut the 300 g fresh tuna or smoked meat into large cubes. |  |
| 3 | Sauté them to your liking in a small skillet with a little oil, and season with salt at the end of cooking. |  |
| 4 | Pour them into the mixing bowl. |  |
| 5 | Cut the 100 g Cheddar cheese into small cubes. |  |
| 6 | Pour them into the mixing bowl.
Prepare 1 spring onion (scallion), slice it thinly, and add it to the mixing bowl. |  |
| 7 | Finish by adding the dressing, mix well, and it's ready. |  |
Remarks
If you can and if you like, go for smoked tuna (as shown in the photos)—it tastes delicious.
You can substitute the cheddar with another cheese of your choice—preferably a hard cheese (such as Comté or Mimolette)—but this isn’t necessary.
This recipe works very well with other legumes, such as lentils.
