1 | Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C). Put 100 g butter and 125 g caster sugar into a food-mixer bowl. Mix on slow speed until evenly mixed. | |
2 | Add 250 g flour and 2 eggs. | |
3 | Beat until thooughly mixed. | |
4 | Shape the mixture into into small heaps using 2 teaspoons, well spaced out on a baking sheet. | |
5 | Place an almond on the top of each heap. | |
6 | And bake for about 15 minutes. | |
7 | Watch carefully towards the end of the cooking time: they are done when the edges are browned. Leave to cool before eating. |
