Tyrolean apple crumble

For 6 people,  you will need:
- 1  80 g  brown sugar
- 2  10 g  vanilla sugar
- 3  90 g  butter
- 4  50 g  flour
- 5  100 g  rolled oats
- 6  30 g  ground hazelnuts
- 7  1 knob  butter
- 8  1 kg 500 g   apple
- 9  30 g  raisins
- Total weight: 1,900 grams

Step by step recipe
- 1:  The crumble toppingPut into a large bowl: 80 g  brown sugar, 10 g  vanilla sugar, 90 g  butter (cut into small pieces), 50 g  flour, 100 g  rolled oats and 30 g  ground hazelnuts.
- 2:  Mix with your fingertips to a coarse crumb texture.
 Set aside.
- 3:  Butter an ovenproof dish.
 
 Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C).
- 4:  The fruitPeel 1 kg 500 g   apples, remove the core and chop the flesh into small pieces.
 Spread half in the dish.
- 5:  Add 30 g  raisins.
- 6:  Add the remaining apples.
- 7:  Finish with the crumble topping.
- 8:  Bake for about 40 minutes, watching for browning towards the end.
- 9:  Serve warm or cold, on its own, or with a little pouring cream or chantilly cream.
Remarks
If you don't have ground hazelnuts, use ground almonds instead.
To be even more in keeping with the Tyrolean spirit, scatter a little cinnamon over the apples or into the crumble mixture.
