Généralités

This is a plant of which the very smelly leaves are used.

Use

Pull leaves off the bush.
You can use leaves, as this, or chopped.

Keeping

Basil can be dried or frozen.

Remarks

There are several kinds of basil, with differents flavours and colours.

The most known recipe with basil is pesto.
