Hot tomato sauce

For 300 g, you will need:

• 1 500 g tomato
• 2 100 g red onion
• 3 1 garlic clove
• 4 1 lime
• 5 fresh coriander (cilantro)
• 6 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 7 Tabasco
• 8 salt
• 9 pepper
• Total weight: 750 grams

Step by step recipe

1	Peel 500 g tomato and dice small.
2	Take 1/3 of the tomatoes and blend them.
3	Peel 100 g red onion and chop finely. Peel 1 garlic clove and chop finely.
4	Tip the diced tomatoes into a bowl, as the chopped onion and garlic, the juice of 1 lime and 2 tablespoons olive oil to taste, then salt and pepper.
5	Add the blended tomatoes.
6	Finally, add the roughly chopped coriander and mix well.
7	Divide between bowls to put on the table.

Remarks

This is a very approximate recipe, so do feel free to adapt it to your taste by ading a little more of this, a little less of that, especially the Tabasco. You can use chilli pepper if you prefer.
