Overview

Thyme is an aromatic plant of which the leaves are used. There are several kinds of thyme, and its flavour is very typical of Mediterranean cooking.

Use

Use only thyme with fresh green leaves on nice bushy stems.thyme
You can use thyme in two ways.

If you just want its flavour, add a whole sprig to the dish, and remove it after cooking.

Otherwise, if you want to eat it, you should pick off and use only the small green leaves.thyme

Keeping

Thyme can be dried.
