Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 5 min.
Financiers
Preheat the oven to 410°F (210°C).

Pour mixture in moulds without filling them completely, because financiers rise during cooking.

Stage 2 - 15 min.
Financiers
Put in the oven for about 15 minutes, remove as soon as they are golden brown.

Stage 3

You can also make fruits financiers by using small fruits like blackcurrant for example.

Put 2 or 3 by mould.

Stage 4
Financiers
And cook normally.

You can use so any small fruits like raspberries, blueberry, strawberries, etc.You can also taste the pistachio financiers.
Remarks
So that they remain nice and moist, it's important that financiers are not overcooked. Watch carefully towards the end of cooking time.

Serve financiers with coffee or tea, or with fruit desserts.
Keeping: Several days in a closed metal box.

  • Hi,
    I've been baking the finacers' recipe quite a lot. However mine didn't make the "little ball" in the middle of the small cake although they rised really well.
    Do you have any idea what's going on?
