Whole roasted cauliflower
For this simple recipe, butter cauliflower is roasted whole in the oven.

For 4 people, you will need:
  • 1 cauliflower 1 cauliflower
  • 2 semi-salted butter 50 g semi-salted butter
  • 3 salt salt
  • Total weight: 1,250 grams

Step by step recipe


Stage 1
Whole roasted cauliflower : Stage 1
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).

Prepare 1 cauliflower, remove all leaves and cut off the stem.

Place on a sheet of baking paper on a baking sheet.

Stage 2
Whole roasted cauliflower : Stage 2
Melt 50 g semi-salted butter, then carefully brush butter all over the cauliflower.

If you don't have semi-salted butter, add salt to the cauliflower.

Stage 3
Whole roasted cauliflower : Stage 3
Bake for approx. 30-40 minutes, until the cauliflower is golden brown.

During cooking, remove the cauliflower 2 or 3 times and brush with the butter that has melted on the baking sheet.

Stage 4
Whole roasted cauliflower : Stage 4
Serve as is to your guests, with one or more sauces. Each person cuts off a few well-roasted heads to enjoy with the sauce.
Remarks
For the choice of sauces, everything is possible according to your taste. At home, we like: mayonnaise, green parsley-sesame sauce and Mornay sauce.
