Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 2 min.

Preheat the oven to 220°C ou 428°F.

Unroll or roll out 1 Puff or flaky pastry (pâte feuilletée) and put on a baking sheet.

Prick pastry all over with a fork or a "pique-vite".

Stage 3 - 5 min.

Spread 150 g Stewed apple (compote) over the pastry, to within about 0.5 cm of the edge.

Stage 4 - 15 min.

Peel 5 apples, remove core, and cut into slices.

Put apple slices onto the tart.

Stage 5 - 30 min.

Put in the oven, and cook until the pastry turns golden brown (about 30 minutes).
