  • 2 oil 1.5 tablespoon oil
  • 3 Crozets 300 g Crozets
  • 4 cream 100 g cream
  • 5 grated cheese 40 g grated cheese
  • Total weight: 615 grams

Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 5 min.
Alpine gratin : Stage 1
Cut 150 g cooked meat (in this case, leftover pork roast with herbs) into small pieces.

Stage 2 - 4 min.
Alpine gratin : Stage 2
Pour 1.5 tablespoon oil into a frying pan over high heat and, when hot, add the pieces of meat.

Stage 3 - 8 min.

Brown, stirring occasionally, then remove from the heat.

Stage 4 - 10 min.

Cook 300 g Crozets in a large volume of boiling salted water (follow the cooking time indicated on the packet).

Stage 5 - 5 min.

Drain.

Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).

Stage 6 - 2 min.

Butter a casserole dish.

Stage 7 - 1 min.

Pour in the pieces of meat.

Then the crozets.

Stage 9 - 2 min.

Then the cream (this time I used a very thick cream, but it's not essential).

Stage 10 - 2 min.

And finally 40 g grated cheese.

Stage 11 - 20 min.

Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the top is nicely browned.
Remarks
Don't hesitate to use leftover meats for this recipe, and even to mix different kinds, depending on what you have in the fridge.

If you're using pork, you can replace the oil with lard in step 2.

For a perfect match, use a Savoy cheese for the grated cheese if possible (Abondance, Beaufort, etc.).
Keeping: Several days in the fridge, protected by cling film.
