Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 15 min.
Warm haricot bean salad
Cook 14.1 oz white beans until soft.

Stage 2 - 1 min.
Warm haricot bean salad
Drain and keep hot.

Stage 3 - 8 min.
Warm haricot bean salad
Pour 1 tablespoon olive oil into a small frying pan on high heat. When really hot, add 5.3 oz small pieces of bacon and fry.

Stage 4 - 8 min.

Meanwhile melt 1.8 oz butter in another pan on high heat, then add 2 slices bread cut into cubes.

Fry until lightly browned.

Stage 5 - 2 min.

Put the beans into a salad bowl, then add the lardons with their cooking fat.

Stage 6 - 2 min.
Warm haricot bean salad
Finsh by adding the croutons, the chopped chives and 5 tablespoons french dressing (vinaigrette).

Mix well and serve immediately while still warm.
Remarks
If you are using dried beans, leave them to soak overnight in cold water before cooking.
Keeping: 1 or 2 days in the fridge, covered with plastic film.
