  • 6 salt 0.06 oz salt
  • 7 powdered cocoa 0.2 oz powdered cocoa
  • 8 Chocolate chips 0.4 oz Chocolate chips (optional)

Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 5 min.
Oatmeal and chocolate shortbread
Pour 1.9 oz flour, 0.9 oz oat flour, 1.6 oz brown sugar, 1.6 oz butter, 13 Egg, 0.06 oz salt, 0.2 oz powdered cocoa into the bowl of a mixer.

Stage 2 - 2 min.
Oatmeal and chocolate shortbread
Knead for 1 or 2 minutes until smooth.

Stage 3 - 1 hour
Oatmeal and chocolate shortbread
Place the ball of dough on a sheet of cling film, flatten it into a square cake about 1 cm thick, then close the cling film and put it in the fridge for 1 hour.

Stage 4 - 5 min.

Remove the dough from the cling film and roll out to 1/2 cm thickness.

Preheat oven to 180°C (360°F).

Stage 5 - 10 min.

Cut out the shapes of your choice, in this case small rectangles, and place them on a sheet of baking paper on a baking sheet.

Stage 6 - 5 min.

You can add chocolate chips to the top of each shortbread.

Stage 7 - 15 min.
Oatmeal and chocolate shortbread
Bake for 15 minutes.

Cool on a wire rack and store in a sealed tin or jar.
Remarks
Don't cook for too long, as the shortbread should remain soft.
