Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 5 min.
Express chilli con carne
Chop ½ onion and ½ shallot, put them in a pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil and salt. Cook 2 or 3 minutes.

Stage 2 - 4 min.
Express chilli con carne
Then add 300 ml minced beef, salt again and mix.

Stage 3 - 8 min.
Express chilli con carne
Cook for about 7-8 minutes.

Stage 4 - 2 min.
Express chilli con carne
Add 250 ml tomato coulis, and the beef stock cube.

Stage 5 - 2 min.
Express chilli con carne
Add 250 ml tinned red kidney beans, drained and rinsed.

Stage 6 - 2 min.
Express chilli con carne
And finally 1 tablespoon chilli spices.

Stage 7 - 10 min.
Express chilli con carne
Mix well, and cook for about 10 minutes.

Stage 8
Express chilli con carne
Put Tabasco on the table so that each guest can help himself, and serve the chilli with rice, plain white for example.
