|1||Cook 400 g white haricot beans until soft.||15 min.|

|3||Pour 1 tablespoon olive oil into a small frying pan on high heat. When really hot, add 150 g small pieces of bacon and fry.||8 min.|
|4||Meanwhile melt 50 g butter in another pan on high heat, then add 2 slices bread cut into cubes.
Fry until lightly browned.
|5||Put the beans into a salad bowl, then add the lardons with their cooking fat.||2 min.|
|6||Finsh by adding the croutons, the chopped chives and 5 tablespoons French dressing (vinaigrette).
Mix well and serve immediately while still warm.
