For 2 bagels, you will need:
  • 1 shallot ½ shallot
  • 2 cream cheese 75 g cream cheese
  • 3 herbs of your choice 1 tablespoon herbs of your choice
  • 4 chicken breast 125 g chicken breast
  • 5 olive oil 1.5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 chilli spices ½ tablespoon chilli spices (optional)
  • 7 bagels 2 bagels
  • 8 avocado ½ avocado
  • 9 lettuce 2 leaves lettuce
  • Total weight: 495 grams

Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 5 min.
Chicken and avocado bagels
Prepare ½ shallot and chop finely.

Stage 2 - 3 min.
Chicken and avocado bagels
Put 75 g cream cheese into a bowl with the chopped herbs and shallot. Salt and pepper according to the cheese you are using.

Stage 3 - 1 min.

Mix together and check the seasoning.

Set aside in the fridge.

Stage 4 - 5 min.

Cut 125 g chicken breast into strips, then salt and pepper.

Stage 5 - 10 min.

Pour 1.5 tablespoon olive oil into a frying pan on high heat. When good and hot, add the chicken pieces.

Fry until nicely browned, then take off the heat.

To pep up the flavour, you can add ½ tablespoon chilli spices at the last minute, but this is not essential.

Slice 2 bagels in half (these bagels are made with cuttlefish ink, hence the black colour).

Lightly toast the bagels (in a toaster or under the grill).

Prepare ½ avocado and slice thinly.

Spread a layer of herby cheese on each bagel half.
