Step by step recipe

Gourmands peas with almonds : Stage 1
Prepare 800 g gourmet peas and reserve.

Pour 50 g flakeds almonds into a frying pan over medium heat.

Roast the almonds until lightly colored.

Set aside on a plate.

In the same pan, without the almonds, pour 50 g butter and when hot, add the chopped shallot and season with salt and pepper.

Cook for 1 minute, without browning.

Add the peas, season with salt and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender.

Add the roasted almonds, mix well and check the seasoning.

Serve immediately.
Remarks
The quantity of almonds is very indicative, so don't hesitate to adapt it to your taste.

You can replace the almonds with other dried fruits (chopped hazelnuts, ...) or seeds (sesame, ...) to suit your taste.
Keeping: 1 or 2 days in the fridge, protected by cling film.
