Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 15 min.
Soft apple cookies
Put into a mixer bowl: 1 cup flour, 0 kg brown sugar, 0 kg butter, 1 23 cup rolled oats, 0 kg 2 g raisins, ½ cup cream, ½ cup flakeds almonds, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 3 pinches fine (or table) salt.

Peel 2 apples and cut into small pieces. Add to the bowl.

Stage 2 - 3 min.

Knead until evenly mixed.

Stage 3 - 12 min.

Weigh the dough out into equal pieces of about 40 g.

Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C).

Stage 4 - 5 min.

Roll the dough into balls with your hands (if you are making these with children, this is the bit they enjoy best), and arrange these on a sheet of cooking parchment laid on a baking sheet.

Stage 5 - 2 min.
Soft apple cookies
Flatten into thickish discs.

Stage 6 - 20 min.
Soft apple cookies
Bake for about 20 minutes.

Leave to cool on a wire rack.
Remarks
You will note that there is no egg in this recipe. Using cream instead makes the cookies softer.
