Here is a very simple recipe, preferably for a barbecue or plancha, but could be made in the kitchen. As for any summer-barbecue-backyard recipe, all proportons can be varied according to taste.

Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - ⌛ 5 min.
Marinated tuna with herbs : Stage 1
In a dish pour 4 tablespoons olive oil, juice of 1 lime, salt & pepper.

Stage 2 - ⌛ 5 min.

Wash, drain, and dry 1 bunch fresh coriander (cilantro) and 1 handful fresh mint leaves.

Stage 3 - ⌛ 5 min.

Chop them.

Stage 4 - ⌛ 2 min.

Add to the dish and mix.

Stage 5 - ⌛ 1 hour

Prepare 6 fillets fresh tuna: wash and dry with towel or absorbant paper .

Cut into pieces, put in the dish and mix well to cover all the tuna with marinade. Salt and pepper again, then put plastic film on the dish, and refrigerate for one hour (this can be done the day before if you want).

Stage 6 - ⌛ 5 min.

Cook on barbecue not too close to the fire, and baste the top regularly with the remaining marinade, using a brush.

Cook the other side in the same way. This will keep the tuna moist.
Remarks
Could be made with other fish if preferred, even with chicken breasts.
Keeping: Once cooked, several days in the fridge, folded by a plastic film..
