Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 20 min.
Turnip and sesame puree (tahina) soup
Peel 15 turnips, cut in 4 lengthways, then cut each quarter in fairly thin slices.

Weight the prepared turnips.

Stage 2 - 10 min.
Turnip and sesame puree (tahina) soup
Cook the turnips in twice their weight of water and 3 chicken stock cubes, until they are soft (about 10 minutes).

Stage 3 - 5 min.
Turnip and sesame puree (tahina) soup
With a blender blend until smooth, then add 6 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste), 10.6 oz liquid cream, and blend again.

Taste and check salt and pepper: it's ready.
Keeping: Several days in the fridge, in a closed jar.
