Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 30 min.
Creamy rice with green asparagus and sorrel
Prepare and cook 0 kg 7 g green asparagus spears, then drain throroughly and cut into small pieces.

Set aside.

Stage 2 - 7 min.

Pour 0 litre 2 ml liquid cream into a large saucepan on medium heat. Salt, pepper and bring to the boil.

Stage 3 - 2 min.

Add 6 handfuls sorrel, roughly chopped, and mix in.

Stage 4 - 1 min.

Add 0 kg 8 g cooked rice...

Stage 5 - 1 min.

...then the asparagus and mix well.

Stage 6 - 3 min.

Remarks
You can easily use white instead of green asparagus, and this can be cooked in advance, even the day before.

For an even creamier texture, replace half the cream with mascarpone.
