Step by step recipe


Stage 1 - 3 min.
Thin spinach and potato tart
Chop 450 g cooked potatoes fairly small.

Stage 2 - 4 min.
Thin spinach and potato tart
Put in a bowl, salt and pepper, then add 150 g butter in small pieces. Mix well by mashing together with a fork, as coarsely or finely as you prefer.

Stage 3 - 4 min.

Roll out 450 g puff or flaky pastry (pâte feuilletée) into a roughly 9-inch (22 cm) circle and lay on a sheet of cooking parchment, laid on a baking sheet.

Stage 4 - 2 min.
Thin spinach and potato tart
Preheat the oven to 430°F (220°C).

Spread a layer of crushed potato on the puff pastry base.

Stage 5 - 2 min.

Add a layer of spinach.

Stage 6 - 2 min.

Spread the 300 g bechamel sauce on top.

Stage 7 - 1 min.
Thin spinach and potato tart
And finish with 90 g grated cheese.

Stage 8 - 30 min.

Bake for about 30 minutes.

Stage 9 - 10 min.
Thin spinach and potato tart
Leave to cool slightly before serving.
Remarks
If you don't have bechamel sauce, add extra grated cheese to make up for it.
Keeping: Best eaten without delay, but can be reheated.
